“In March 1996, while on a
two-week tour of the Dutch folk
circuit, we travelled south to
Roeselare in West Flanders for
a “filler” on a wet Monday night.
The crack, warmth and welcome
we experienced that night at
D’Armoe has never been forgotten,
and we re-live the same hospitality
every year since in the pubs
and clubs of West Flanders.

The people of West Flanders are
a special people and we feel at
home every time we play here.
This is the real land of
“A Hundred Thousand Welcomes”
and we are honoured to have
recorded a live album here.”
